Grant for virtual reality nurse training project

I received some good news recently, as seen below:

Martindale and Colleagues Awarded $250,000 Grant

ISWD Department Head Trey Martindale and an interdisciplinary team from MSU have been awarded a $250,000 Mississippi Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) grant. WIOA is designed to help job candidates access employment, education, training, and support services to succeed in the labor market and to match employers with the skilled workers they need to compete in the global economy.  Dr. Adam Pervez (MSU Meridian) says the project involves developing virtual reality training modules for the nursing profession.
